Pakistan reports 990 news COVID-19 positive cases in the last twenty-four hours, including an increase in casualties.
According to Baaghi TV, there has been an increase in Coronavirus patients in Pakistan. In 24 hours, 990 new patients have emerged.
The total number of corona patients in Pakistan has reached 16,817. So far, the numbers are:
- 6,340 patients in Punjab
- 6,053 in Sindh
- 2,627 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- 1,049 in Balochistan
The death toll from COVID-19 in Pakistan has risen to 385. So far 4,315 people are reported to have recovered from the novel virus.
The highest death toll from Coronavirus reported in in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (146), followed by Sindh (112), Punjab (106), Balochistan (14), Gilgit-Baltistan (3) and Islamabad (4).
In Punjab, 1,921 people have defeated Corona. 1,222 people recovered in Sindh, 645 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 183 in Balochistan, 248 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 44 in Islamabad. In Azad Kashmir too, 43 people have defeated Korona.
On the other hand, Coronavirus suo motu notice case has been fixed for hearing in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The Supreme Court’s larger bench will hear the case on the 4th of May. The court has issued notices to the Attorney General, Secretary Health and Provincial Advocate Generals.
Notices have also been issued to other parties, including the Home Secretary and the four provincial chief secretaries.
