COVID-19: India under complete lockdown

New Delhi, 23rd March: It has been reported that nearly all of India has gone under complete lockdown to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in India jumped to 433 on Monday evening. Of the 433 total confirmed cases, 402 are active cases while 23 of these have been cured and discharged from hospitals. Also, figure 433 includes seven death cases and one of a migrated Covid-19 patient. Further, of the 433 cases, 393 are Indian citizens while 40 are foreign nationals. The data is as per the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, updated on its website at 6 pm on March 23. It has suspended all passenger trains, inter-state buses, and metro rail services across the country till March 31.
