Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC), during the last 24 hours most death occurred in Punjab followed by Sindh.

Out of 45 deaths during last 24 hours, 22 died on ventilators, 42 died in hospital and 3 died out of hospital on 15 Jan. Meanwhile, 2,432 people tested COVID-19 positive on 15 Jan.

Total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reported as 33,763 as of 16 Jan. 42,422 tests conducted on 15 Jan. Provincial statistics show:

  • Sindh: 13,340
  • Punjab: 14,390
  • KP: 6,591
  • ICT: 6,784
  • Balochistan: 586
  • GB: 360
  • AJK: 371

According to reports, 472,099 people have recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. Meanwhile, there is no patient on vent in AJK & Balochistan although, 333 vents occupied across Pakistan.

According to statistics released by the NCOC, the mortality rate across Pakistan is confirmed at 10,908 deaths.

Since the outbreak last year, 7,326,431 tests have been conducted in Pakistan. While, 631 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities caring for 2,840 patients admitted across the country.
