COVID-19; most deaths in Punjab as cases rise across Pakistan

Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC) show, that during the last 24-hours most deaths occurred in Punjab followed by Sindh. Out of 36 deaths during the last 24-hours, 35 died in-hospital, 1 died out of hospital. Meanwhile, 1,340 people tested positive for COVID-19.

According to reports, 533,202 people have recovered since the outbreak making it a significant count. According to reports, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are reported to be 24,081 as of 20 Feb. Meanwhile, 42,332 tests have been conducted. Provincial statistics show Sindh at 12,205, Punjab at 16,130, KP at 7,268, ICT at 5,142, Balochistan at 504, GB at 570, and AJK at 513 tests conducted on 20 Feb.
