Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (5th Oct, 2020): According to the report of Baaghi TV, the wave of Corona virus has not abated, educational institutions have also started to be affected by Corona. Corona virus was confirmed in 9 teachers of the same school in Batgram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Teachers were tested for corona virus. Following the confirmation of positive test results, the teachers have been quarantined at home. According to the District Education Officer, Batgram, we have ensured implementation of Corona SOPs in all schools across the district. Our teams have been visiting the schools on a daily basis. “After the coronavirus test of 9 teachers of Government Higher Secondary School Thakot came positive, we quarantined the affected teachers in our homes while the school has been closed for 15 days,” he said. Precautionary measures against corona must be followed in educational institutions. Provincial and district monitoring teams will ensure implementation of SOPs. Violations of SOPs will result in closure of educational institutions and fines. After the first phase, a total of 35 educational institutions across the country were closed on the report of Corona cases in educational institutions.
