COVID-19 Pakistan updates; which cities have most occupied ventilators?

According to reports of Baaghi TV, latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) shows that during the last 24 hours most deaths occurred in Punjab followed by KP.

Out of 58 deaths during last 24 hours 29 died on ventilators, 49 died in hospital and 9 died out of hospital on 25 Jan. Meanwhile, 1,873 people tested covid positive on 25 Jan.

  • Multan – 38%
  • Lahore – 37%
  • Islamabad – 37%

Oxygen beds occupied % (4 major areas)

  • Multan – 28%
  • Rawalpindi – 23%

Total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are reportedly 34,412 as of 26 Jan. While, 42,587 tests conducted on 25 Jan.

  • Punjab: 18,156
  • KP: 6,084
  • ICT: 5,778
  • Balochistan: 290
  • GB: 330
  • AJK: 240

It is to be noted that 490,126 people have recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. There is no patient on vent in AJK,GB & Balochistan while, 310 vents occupied across Pakistan.
