COVID-19: Quarantine or Quran time?

We are now gazing upon the sky in wonderment seeking for the creators mercy. Too often too oblivious to note that technology has no control over Gods wrath.

Corona which is now declared as a world pandemic, has hit almost all the countries very severely now grappling with it in the most robust manner with social distancing, quarantining and observing other precautions in the strictest manner. Some say in countries like America this is a medical emergency which may lead to economic crisis. The activity may come to a screeching halt.

Canada-US border expected to be closed by Saturday: Trudeau

No one has encountered anything like this before. We may have experienced stagnant economies, stagflation or a slow economy in the past. However, people live through it hoping that the things might recover, when favourable conditions return and that also happens and thus the economic activity continues on unabated.

It sparks fear. A fear which may not wear or wean away soon. We are apprehensive for ours is a country where poor abound. There is a dearth of proper health facilities. The contemptible neglect in not having the urge to build hospitals and equip them with modern systems which is probably the gravest of all the shortcomings of any incumbent government, be it any country.

The WHO experts say it is time to self quarantine. Agreed but, I say this is Quran time. We must sit home. Pray to God and seek forgiveness and his mercy. We have to look around and see what went wrong. A fatwa came out by the clerics in UAE that saying prayers at home and not coming to the mosque is pardonable in these trying times, yet rewarding.

COVID-19: A conspiracy theory

This relaxation is for a month. I guess those who seldom went to the mosque can avail themselves of this opportunity. Indeed a great opportunity for them to make use of this time by praying at home, seeking his mercy and one could be regular in praying as there is no excuse for not praying. More time for reading the Quran in quarantine. It’s like aitakaaf devoting more time to oneself for spiritual cleansing.

As I go forth to pen my thoughts my dear daughter tells me that a lockdown is being enforced and announced publicly. This is 6 pm. I was on the top of my roof with children singing the national anthem.
Seed Ghani the legislator from Karachi has just been found to be another victim of COVID-19. May God be with him and he recovers soon. Please make your people aware of the hazards of corona virus.

The names change but the regime’s remain

[bs-quote quote=”This is a national emergency. We appreciate our doctors who are the unsung heroes always ready to lead from the front. Yet we must observe the standard operating procedure in maintaining health care. For instance social distancing. Forty-five percent of our population accounts for the labourers who might have to work on daily basis travelling far and wide getting around their works coming in close contact frequently. That must be stopped forthwith.” style=”style-17″ align=”center” color=”#dd0000″ author_name=”Mian Haroon Masood ” author_job=”Political Leader, Pakistan “][/bs-quote]

Now in the event of a complete lockdown what will happen to these poor people facing difficulty in making ends meet in the most difficult times?

The government must in all fairness ask all private organization, that they must pay them one or two month wage in advance to combat this growing problem. The nation must come as one. The nation has a daunting task ahead of itself. We have to prove it to the world that we are self reliant, capable of standing on our own feet. We must help our employees, workers in this moment of crisis. Must come forward to help them all. My appeal to the industrialists to be benevolent when there is a dire need to show compassion. My appeal to all.

Coronavirus: Pak army summoned to take over

There is so much of craziness happening. People are still in denial. Thinking God is kind he will take care of us He is kind and benevolent most merciful but he is surely not too happy. The doors of Kaaba would not be shut on Muslims. The place being the citadel and bastion of Islam and Mecca of the pilgrims.

The Sindh government is doing it’s best to bring calm and cater to its people. Let’s pray any decision taken on part of our country is in the best interest of the country. Let’s not complain and allege for point scoring. All are united in this hour of need.

For those who don’t believe in restraining themselves, may be reminded of our Holy prophets sayings who has emphatically said that if a person discovers any such pandemic on entering any other city or place, they should avoid entering, and if he is at his home and discovers the same should stay within the circumscribed limits of his home. This came 1400 yrs ago.

The eerie silence on the roads in the dead of the night scared us to feel that way it’s time for giveaways, help, and care.

Lucman adamant for the emergency lockdown
