Tests of 141 patients of COVID-19 who had recovered from the disease, in South Korea have raised concerns for the world.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, in the world where the corona epidemic is harming humans, the number of 526,770 patients recovering from it is quite considerable.

According to CNN, 141 patients in South Korea have recovered from corona disease, but when they were tested again, they came to be positive.

South Korean’s Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) said that the agency did not know what caused the people to retest positive and was investigating.

Most experts think that it is unlikely that any patient could contract the disease so fast after recovering from coronavirus. It’s possible that issues with testing, or varying amounts of viral RNA in the body, which the tests look for, could explain why people tested positive after testing negative.

Among the main possibilities are re-infection, a relapse, or inconsistent tests, experts say. Although re-infection would be the most concerning scenario because of its implications for developing immunity population, both the KCDC and many experts say this is unlikely.

On the other hand, a relapse of the virus could mean that parts of the virus go into some kind of dormant state for a time, or that some patients may have certain conditions or weak immunity that makes them susceptible to the virus reviving in their system, experts said.

KCDC’s Deputy Director, Kwon also said that the government is studying cultivated samples from the patients to determine whether the cases could be contagious. Kwon said the study will take about two weeks from today.
