COVID-19 Third Wave: Commercial activities to be shut down in Lahore

Lahore, 14th March: A ban has been imposed on all commercial activities in Lahore in the wake of the third wave of the coronavirus.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, a letter has been issued by the deputy commissioner Lahore office to impose the ban enforced after the directions of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Punjab to shut down all the commercial activities at 10 pm.

As per reports, the ban will remain enforced until April 15.

The theatre owners have also been directed to ensure the closure of their theatres by 10 pm, otherwise, strict action would be taken over the violation.

Meanwhile, the district administration has imposed a smart lockdown in many areas of Lahore, Gujranwala and Gujarat amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in Punjab.
