COVID-19 Third Wave: Usman Buzdar warns of an alarming situation in hospitals

Lahore, 6th April: Punjab Government has raised alarm after the dangerous situation arising in hospitals due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has warned of the dangerous effect of the third wave of novel coronavirus.

Chief Minister raised the alarm that Punjab’s health system is under pressure after a lot of rush created in hospitals.

According to reports, coronavirus positive cases in Lahore and 8 other cities of Punjab has reached alarming levels.

Chief Minister Buzdar has urged the people to wear face masks while in public, stay at home and maintain safe social distance.

Usman Buzdar warned that if a ban on wearing masks is not imposed then the situation is likely to worsen. People must wear while getting out of the house.

According to the latest reports of Baaghi TV,  the mortality rate in Pakistan is reported to be 14,924 deaths while active cases are reported to be 63,102. Meanwhile, 618,158 people have recovered since the outbreak last year.

The Pakistan Government is urging the public to ventilate their homes and strictly implement Coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Moreover, wearing a mask has been made mandatory along with maintaining social distance and staying indoors unless absolutely essential. Additionally, the people are advised to avoid crowded places.
