New Delhi, 31st May: The total number of deaths in India rose to 5,000 with a record of 8,000 cases a day.
According to the Baaghi TV report, the number of coronavirus cases is on the rise across India and 7,964 new cases of infection have been registered in the last 24 hours and 265 people have died from the disease.
The number of recoveries has also increased, so far 11,264 patients have recovered.
According to the latest figures released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday, 1,73,763 people have been infected and 4,971 people have been killed so far in various states and Union Territories
Maharashtra has become the most affected state in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2,682 new cases have been reported in the state and 116 people have died, bringing the total number of infected people in the state to 62,228 and the number of deaths due to this deadly virus.

Tamil Nadu is the second most affected by the virus, with a number of more than 20,000. So far, 20,246 people have been affected by the epidemic and 154 people have died, while 11,313 people have been discharged from various hospitals after treatment.
The condition in the national capital, Delhi, is also critical due to the coronavirus which is in the third number of the most affected state in the country.
In Delhi, 17,386 people have been infected and 398 have died, while 7,846 patients have been discharged from hospitals after treatment.
The western state of Gujarat is the fourth most affected by COVID-19. So far 15,934 people have been affected by the epidemic in Gujarat and 980 people have died. In addition, 8611 people have managed to control the disease.
Corona virus is also spreading in Rajasthan and the number of infected people here has reached 8,365 and 184 people have died, while 5,244 people have recovered.
In Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, 7,284 people have been infected with the coronavirus so far and 198 have died.
