Lahore, 14th May: People aged 30-39 years can now register themselves for the coronavirus vaccine in Pakistan.

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, registration for the COVID-19 vaccine for people aged 30 and above will start on Sunday, May 16.

Chief of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Asad Umar tweeted earlier that the government has decided to open registrations for the people aged 30-39 from next week.

He wrote, “As vaccine supply continues to improve and vaccination capacity gets enhanced in all Federating units, we continue to expand the categories of those who are eligible to get vaccinated. Starting Sunday the 16th of May, registration will be open to all 30 years and older citizens.”

Baaghi TV reported last week that walk-in vaccination for citizens aged 40-49 is underway at the vaccination centers.

According to the latest data collected from NCOC, during the last 24 hours, 11,709 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Pakistan and 964,227 people have been fully vaccinated so far.
