Lahore, 15th May: The coronavirus continues to spread in Pakistan and the number of patients and deaths has increased.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the number of reported deaths in Pakistan has reached up to 833.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center on coronavirus, 1,430 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which includes:
13,914 in Punjab
14,099 in Sindh
5,423 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
2,310 in Balochistan
501 in Gilgit-Baltistan
866 in Islamabad
105 in Azad Kashmir
Coronavirus is here to stay: WHO
So far 344,450 people have been tested in Pakistan and 13,700 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours. According to the reports so far 10,155 patients have recovered.
In Pakistan, 33 people lost their lives in one day from from the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 803.
243 patients died in Sindh
234 in Punjab
284 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
4 in Gilgit-Baltistan
30 in Balochistan
7 in Islamabad
So far, quarantine centers in 462 hospitals are treating patients.
Partial lockdown is in force in Pakistan due to the pandemic, but there will be a complete lockdown in Punjab and Sindh from Friday to Sunday.
