COVID Outbreak: Canada, Taiwan and many others send help to India
Lahore, 28th April: With the number of coronavirus cases soaring high in India, many countries have stepped forward to help the country in time of need. According to reports, on Wednesday the situation of coronavirus pandemic went out of control in India, after the toll exceeded 200,000, with a severe shortage of oxygen, medical supplies and hospital staff. As per the data, on Wednesday India recorded 3,60,960 new coronavirus cases in a day, the highest ever single-day rise. For the first time, 3,292 deaths were recorded in 24 hours taking the death toll to 2,01,187. With such a devastating situation, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Germany, Singapore and Russia have offered to lend help India to deal with the health crisis. According to reports, Britain, Australia, Germany and Ireland have sent ventilators and oxygen concentrators to New Delhi. While Russia and Singapore have promised to send oxygen cylinders and medical supplies to India. Taiwan has also pledged to send its first supply of oxygen generators this week.
