COVID-19: Offices to remain open during lockdown
Lahore, 24th March: With the increasing number of coronavirus patients in the country, the government has announced a total lockdown in all the provinces and the Pak Army has been called upon to assist in controlling the spread of the virus. According to the reports of Baaghi TV, the Punjab Government has declared a lockdown in the province, considering the rapid spread of the disease and has ordered to close down all the shops, malls, and recreational areas and has taken a decision to keep 13 departments open with the necessary staff. According to a notification issued by the Punjab government, S&GAD, interior, health, finance and other departments will remain open. Their government offices will not be closed and selective staff will be present in these departments.
