Crackdown on Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) workers begins; Government issues notice to arrest those who disturb public order.

Sources have revealed that a large number of arrests have been made so far as a result of this crackdown. It has also been reported that a list has been prepared in which such elements have been identified from the TLP platform who were planning to escalate the violence.

On the other hand, some leaders of the movement also said that 70 workers have been arrested in the police station factory area.

Meanwhile, according to the cited reports, a large number of containers reached the entrance of Lahore and Shahdara Chowk in view of the situation.

It has been gathered that today is the second day of the sit-in protest at Yateem Khana Chowk after the TLP rally. According to reports, TLP had called a sit-in after the rally demanding deportation of the French ambassador.

The sources have also revealed that the sudden decision in this regard came to light when the banned TLP held a rally in Lahore on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. After this decision, the situation in Lahore is very bad and there is fear among the people at the moment. It is also known that this sit-in could spread across the country very soon.

It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan had protested in Islamabad against the publication of blasphemous sketches of Prophet Muhammad in France, which was called off after an agreement with the government.

It may be recalled that in the ongoing TLP protest sit-in in Lahore, the central leaders have given the government till tomorrow evening to comply with their demands.
