Crown Princess of Sweden tests positive for COVID-19
Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria has contracted COVID-19 and is encountering gentle side effects, the Royal Court said on Saturday.
Recently Victoria’s parents, the lord and sovereign of Sweden, both likewise tested positive in the midst of surging infection, that has seen the country repeatedly report record day by day case numbers.
The Royal Court said in an explanation that the royal, who is 44 and has gotten the infection once previously, was confining at home with her family, adding that the heir to the throne was fully vaccinated.
“The crown princess, who is fully vaccinated, is experiencing cold symptoms but is otherwise feeling well,” the court said. “Contact tracing has begun.”
