CTD Operation Leaves Three Terrorists Dead
Three terrorists were killed in a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) operation in Peshawar, according to reports.
According to details, CTD Peshawar Region received a tip-off that terrorists of the banned organization, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) Khorasan, were present in Shahpur police station area for a major operation. On this basis, the CTD’s special raid team launched an intelligence-based operation in the Shahpur area, but the terrorists opened fire on the police forces.
Meanwhile, the police force retaliated by killing three terrorists. Three terrorists took advantage of the darkness and fled. The search for terrorists continues while police and security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

While the CTD operation was in process, terrorists opened fire on a check post of security forces in Ketch district of Balochistan today, as a result of which another soldier, Muhammad Qaiser, of Pakistan Army was martyred.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists opened fire on a military check post in Ketch district of Balochistan. It was also stated that immediate and effective retaliatory action was taken by the security forces. Security forces are conducting a clearance operation in the area.

According to ISPR, the security forces retaliated immediately and effectively. A soldier of Pakistan Army was martyred in the exchange of fire. The name of the martyred soldier was Waqas and he belonged to Mansehra.
