Lahore, 18th May: Cyclone Tauktae has passed through the coastal areas of Sindh without any damage.

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh confirmed that Cyclone Tauktae, which emerged from the Arabian Sea has passed through the coastal areas of Sindh without causing any damage.

PDMA Sindh has issued letters to Deputy Commissioners of different districts of the province.

According to reports received by PDMA Sindh from the coast, no damage was caused by Cyclone Tauktae.

Despite the passage of the storm, there is a fear of extreme heat and rising temperatures on the coastal belt of the province, including Karachi.

PDMA Sindh has also started that heavy rains and strong winds are also expected in Tharparkar and Umerkot districts.

Baaghi TV reported earlier that Cyclone Tauktae has caused severe damage in Gujarat and Maharashtra states of India, displacing around 15,000 people to safer places.
