LONDON: Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reached London on an official visit to boost diplomatic ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK).

 

During his visit, Mr Dar held a series of meetings, starting with a conversation with his British counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.

 

Mr Dar stressed the significance of strengthening the partnership between Pakistan and the UK, emphasizing how their bilateral and regional cooperation serves collective interests.

 

He also acknowledged the contributions of the British-Pakistani community in bolstering closer relations between the two countries.

 

Talking to media, Mr Dar said said he that the trip has been “pleasant” and he would meet with more leaders to extend ties. He is also expected to meet Pakistani journalists during his visit to exchange details of his visit.
