Date set for indictment of Khurshid Shah
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah and others to be indicted on October 24th, the Accountability Court has granted the NAB’s request for a final reference.
Earlier, Khurshid Shah’s bail application was heard. The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of Khursheed Shah’s bail application indefinitely. A three-member bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam conducted the hearing.
Justice Mushir Alam remarked that, in this case, there is a request for adjournment by the lawyer. Khurshid Shah’s lawyer said, “I have no objection when the hearing is held.” The NAB also adjourned the hearing on the bail pleas of the other accused.

It may be mentioned that the Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench had rejected the bail plea of PPP leader, National Assembly member Khursheed Shah and his son MPA Farrukh Shah. Khursheed Shah and his 18 accomplices have been charged in the NAB court for acquiring assets worth more than Rs 1.23 billion.
Prime Minister announces good news for Pakistan
NAB has filed a reference against Khurshid Shah in the accountability court. Another 17 people have been nominated in the reference against Khurshid Shah. Khurshid Shah’s wife, two sons and son-in-law have also appeared in court. Owais Qadir Shah, MPA Farrukh Shah and others have appeared before the accountability court.
