Death anniversary of Ahmed Ghulam Ali Chagla today
The 72nd death anniversary of music composer of the national anthem Ahmed Ghulam Ali Chagla is being observed today (Wednesday).
He composed music for national anthem of Pakistan in 1949.
In recognition of his services, he was awarded Pride of Performance and Nishan-e-Imtiaz posthumously.
He died on this day in 1953.
