Death anniversary of author Intizar Hussain today
The 9th death anniversary of renowned Urdu author Intizar Hussain is being observed today.
Intizar Hussain was born in India in 1925.
He gained wide recognition through his novels, poetry and short stories.
He was decorated with several national and international awards including Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the government of Pakistan.
He died on this day in Lahore in 2016.
