7th death anniversary of renowned Pakistani satirist Mushtaq Ahmad Yousafi is being observed today.

Born in Rajasthan, India in 1923, he shifted to Pakistan after partition.

He wrote tremendous pieces of satire and humour in Urdu.

His famous books include Aab-e-Gum, Chiragh Talay, Khakam Badahan and Zarguzasht.

He died this day in Karachi in 2018.
