The 21st death anniversary of eminent Urdu poet and broadcaster Tabish Dehlvi is being observed on Tuesday.
He is regarded as one of the leading classical poets in Urdu literature.
Tabish Dehlvi with the name of Masood Tabish started his career as a newsreader with All India Radio in 1941 and continued working with Radio Pakistan after the partition.
Tabish received many awards at home and abroad in his lifetime, including Tamgha-i-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan.
He died on this day in 2004 in Karachi.
