Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah reserved the verdict after the preliminary hearing. Advocate Adnan Iqbal appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner. The petition takes the position that Nawaz Sharif in his recent speech made negative propaganda against national institutions. Nawaz Sharif’s propaganda has damaged the respect of national institutions. The court ordered the parties to take action on Nawaz Sharif’s recent speech. The court ordered the parties to clear their positions in accordance with the law.
It should be noted that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had addressed the APC of the opposition parties and in it he had sharply criticized the institutions. Nawaz Sharif’s statement was seen as a statement of Pakistan’s enemy.
