DG NAB Lahore has been transferred
Dec 23, 2021: According to a report by BaaghiTV, DG NAB Lahore Shehzad Saleem has been transferred.
New Grade 21 officer Jamil Ahmed has been posted as new DG NAB Lahore. DG NAB Sukkur Irfan Baig has also been transferred. Mirza Sultan Saleem has been posted as new DG NAB Sukkur, Director HRM NAB said.
The notification issued said Shehzad Saleem has been posted in Awareness and Prevention Cell at NAB Headquarters.
Earlier, two days ago, a petition was heard in the Lahore High Court against the appointment of Director General NAB Jamil Ahmed. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Muhammad Amir Bhatti heard the petition of Secretary Lahore High Court Bar Khawaja Mohsin Abbas. NAB has sought reply from other parties including the federal government on the appointment of Jameel Ahmed by January 25
The petition states that the Federal Government, Chairman NAB and DG NAB have been made parties. Lahore High Court Bar Secretary Khawaja Mohsin Abbas had challenged the appointment of DG NAB Islamabad Jameel Ahmed in the Lahore High Court.
