Lahore, 23rd March: Differences are becoming evident between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
According to reports of Baaghi TV, PDM has decided to support PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz on her hearing before NAB on March 26.
However, sources have informed that PPP has not yet been invited to participate in the rally for the appearance of Maryam Nawaz at the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Lahore headquarters.
PPP leader Chaudhry Manzoor confirmed that no invitation has been extended to their party by the PDM so far.
Chaudhry Manzoor added that it has come to our notice that the PDM has announced to go to NAB with Maryam Nawaz. However, PPP has not decided to go to NAB with Maryam Nawaz yet.
He expressed if they receive the invitation then the decision will be taken after consultation with the leadership, it would be premature to say anything about the decision of PPP.
According to Baaghi TV reports, PML-N National Assembly member Rana Sanaullah said on Monday that NAB has summoned Maryam Nawaz at the direction of the government.
Earlier, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Maryam Nawaz has been summoned to NAB on March 26 and that all PDM workers will be present at Maryam Nawaz’s appearance.
