Dilip Kumar shifted to the ICU again

India: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in Mumbai following complaints of breathlessness. The legendary actor had been admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai earlier this month and had been discharged after a few days. According to hospital sources, the 98-year-old actor was taken to the same hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility yesterday as a ‘precautionary measure’ and is doing fine.

‘He was admitted yesterday during the day due to breathlessness. Given his age and recent hospitalisation, the family decided to take him to the hospital as a precautionary measure. He is fine. He is in the ICU so that the doctors can monitor him,’ the hospital insider told ETimes. Earlier this month, Dilip Kumar was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion along with a drop in oxygen saturation.
