Director Sajid Khan accused of sexual assault

Mumbai, 11th September: Indian film-maker Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual assault.

According to reports from Baaghi TV, the Indian director Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual assault by a model.

As per a report from the Indian news website, Pinkvilla, an Indian model named Paula has accused Sajid Khan of sexually harassing her when she was just 17 years old.

Paula said the reason behind keeping quiet during the #MeToo movement is that she did not have a godfather and had to earn for her family.

The model now dared to speak against the filmmaker as her parents are not with her anymore. She also alleges that he harassed her when she was 17 years old. Paula writes, “He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me.”

She further alleges that the director told her to strip naked in front of him for his movie ‘Housefull 4’. She was so young that she did not realize the consequences of such an act. She also said that it affected her badly when she chose not to speak as a child. Paula ends her note with a hard-hitting sentence stating that people like Sajid Khan should be put behind bars for casting couch and stealing dreams.

The ‘Housefull 4’ director, Khan was accused of sexual harassment back in 2018 too, by three women during the #MeToo movement in India. Several female actresses including a journalist had accused the filmmaker of the same. Since then the film-maker had made rare public appearances.
