District Bar Association held training workshop

(18/1/20): The office bearers of District Bar Association Bahawalpur headed by Liaqat Sami Khan the President welcomed CIC who addressed 500 lawyers for about one hour from 9.30 to 10.30 am. CIC declared RTI as recipe for change, transparency and informed society. He also declared the Ex-Officio designation of all Presidents and General Secretaries of all Bar Associations of Punjab as RTI Ambassadors to promote RTI in collaboration with PIC. President Bar Association along with a delegation of 15 lawyers not only attended the workshop to show commitment with RTI but also addressed PIOs motivating them. He appreciated the initiative of CIC to outreach a cross section of society at such a distant place, the training lasted for about 3 hours.
