
Lahore, 22nd October: The dollar has hit a five-month low in Pakistan.
Baaghi TV: The American Dollar fell to a five-month low from 23 paise to 161.90 on the interbank market.
It has been reported that the dollar has depreciated by Rs 6.53 paise since August, reaching Rs 168.43 paise in August. A fall in the value of the dollar will reduce the pressure on foreign debt by Rs 700 billion.
On the other hand, the dollar fell 20 paise in the open market, after which the dollar traded at 162 rupees 30 paise.
It is clear that in April 2019, the dollar took a big leap and came to 141 rupees 50 paise. In June, the dollar broke all records and reached an all-time high of Rs 164. In July 2019, the dollar stopped rising and after the reduction, it became Rs 160 in the interbank market and Rs 161 in the open market.
At the end of October 2019, the rupee appreciated further and the dollar depreciated to Rs 155.70. At the end of November 2019, the buying price of the dollar was 155.25 and the selling price was 155.65.
