Dwayne Johnson states that he will no longer allow the use of real firearms in his productions in order to play his part in making the productions safer.

During the promotion of his upcoming movie titled: “Red Notice,” Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson told the press that he will no longer allow real firearms on the set of any of his Seven Bucks film productions. He had taken this decision after the fatal shooting on the set of the movie titled “Rust,” which had took the life of cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins.
Dwayne stated that they will now switch to using rubber guns instead of real ones and that they will neither care about the money nor what this decision will cost them. He further stated that he was heartbroken because they had lost a precious life. He said that he deeply feels for the bereaved family and everyone on set.
Johnson wishes to ban the use of real firearms on sets of all Hollywood films. Investigation of the “Rust” incident is still underway as to how the gun carried by actor Alec Baldwin carried real loaded arms. The assistant director had claimed the gun to have had been “cold” indicating that it was a fake before it was handed over to the actor, according to the investigators.
Baldwin has been in phone contact with detectives and has been willingly answering their questions.
