Earthquake tremors felt in Lahore and other Punjab cities

Lahore, 11th January: An earthquake of a magnitude 5.1 struck Lahore and other cities of Punjab, Pakistan.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, earthquake tremors were felt in the provincial capital Lahore on Monday evening.



The jolts were felt on Monday evening at 7 pm in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree and other districts of the province, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)
According to the Met Office, the earthquake hit at a depth of 65 km while the epicentre was located in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

The tremors in Lahore were of short duration. As soon as the tremors started, the citizens came out of the buildings reciting Kalima Tayyaba.
