Joint Feed Back Letter to HEC on Journal Recognition Policy
In a letter to the Higher Education Commission, the editors have stated that the HEC as a facilitator in the field of research and education was under the constitution of Pakistan and that no policy should be made that would affect Pakistan’s identity and nationality.
Pakistan’s national language should not be ignored at any cost. The Higher Education Commission has demanded that the newly introduced system be revoked immediately and that the decisions made at the meeting in February 2020 be put into practice.
The Higher Education Commission further demanded that all categories, including the Z, be maintained on the status of June 2018, and that the national system be exempted from the new system, by making any policy regarding national issues in HEC. The editors should be taken into confidence first.
