Education Minister gives a major statement about reopening of schools

Lahore, 6th August 2020: Provincial Education Minister has announced that if the situation worsens, the schools will not reopen from September 15.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the Education Minister has announced that the schools will not reopen from September 15 if conditions deteriorate due to the pandemic coronavirus.
SOPs formulated to reopen schools in Punjab
It may be recalled that educational institutions in the country have been closed since March due to coronavirus and a meeting chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has decided to reopen them from September 15.
While the All Pakistan Private Schools Federation rejected the declaration of the Education Ministers Conference and demanded that the government announce the opening of schools across the country from August 15, otherwise they will open educational institutions themselves.
Punjab announces the date of opening of educational institutions
Speaking on the Geo News morning show ‘Geo Pakistan’, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the decision to open the school would be taken by the government and not by the private school association.
He said that the reports coming from different countries are not very good. In some countries, the corona has spread again. We do not want such a situation. If the situation worsens, schools may not open on September 15.
