According to Baaghi TV, the second round of holidays in educational institutions also ended because of Corona. Educational institutions for ninth to 12th class students across Pakistan opened today.
Students are wearing masks and their hands are being sanitized, as they are instructed to keep a social distance in classrooms. Educational institutions across Pakistan were closed for the second time due to the corona virus. However, educational institutions have reopened today, students have arrived at educational institutions, which have been instructed to take care of corona SOPs.
Up to 25 students will be allowed to be part of the class in Islamabad, in one day. If the number is high, the rest of the students will be able to take separate classes. The NCOC and Inter-Provincial Education Ministers’ Conference is expected to convene on January 20, to review the current situation of Corona across the country and make further decisions on educational institutions.
Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said that from today, students from class 9 to class 12 and A, O level will return to their classes. He congratulated the students and said that your future is our first priority.
In the second phase, universities, middle and primary schools will open from February 1. All educational institutions will be opened under the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), and Corona SOPs will be strictly enforced.
It may be recalled that earlier on November 26 last year, it was announced that educational institutions across the country would be closed due to the second wave of corona virus and its escalation in Pakistan. Earlier, after the first closure on March 23 last year, educational institutions were reopened in phases from December 15 last year.
