Islamabad, 22nd May: PM’s Advisor to Health, Zafar Mirza has appealed to the masses to wear masks as the situation is critical, and people should offer Eid prayers in their homes.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, has said that there have been 50 deaths due to coronavirus in the last day. The current situation is critical and people are urged to offer Eid prayers at home.

Zafar Mirza said that this is the highest number of new cases and deaths in a single day. People over 50 years of age should refrain from attending gatherings. Otherwise, cases will increase further.

Zafar Mirza further said that people are required to wear masks in crowded places. In order to protect ourselves and others from the coronavirus, we have to take care of social distancing as well.

Zafar Mirza said that if the social distance is not taken care of, you will be responsible for the consequences.

People above 50 years of age should avoid going to gatherings, shops and railways. Wearing a mask is not an option, it is mandatory.
