Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervaiz Elahi has said that Fazlur Rehman and Maryam Nawaz had planned to attack the Supreme Court but due to the wisdom of the Chief Justice, the plan was foiled.
Parvaiz Elahi said in one of his statements that Fazlur Rahman and Maryam Nawaz should be held in contempt of court, for the sake of Nawaz Sharif, Fazlur Rahman has forgotten the traditions of his elders.
He said that elections are the only solution to the current situation. If elections were held in Punjab on time, the situation would not have reached dangerous levels.
Parvez Elahi said that Imran Khan is trying to cool down the people and Shahbaz Sharif is fanning the flames, the PDM government wants to make a war between the army and the people.
The former Chief Minister of Punjab said that Imran Khan has always called the army indispensable for national security, Shahbaz Sharif and Pakistan cannot go together, PDM government wants to take a decision from the Supreme Court on gun point.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President said that the government has exposed its hideous face by gathering the Jathas in front of the Supreme Court.
He said that Imran Khan has never tried to create a gap between the army and the people, there is no use in setting up Mamaji’s court in the National Assembly, there is neither opposition nor full members in the National Assembly.
Parvez Elahi said that where were the IG and Punjab Police at the time of the attack on the Corps Commander House, they were all watching the spectacle at the time of the attack, the government did not deliberately try to save the government and military installations, a transparent inquiry into the events of May 9. If it happens, the secret hand of the government wil be exposed.
