Elections 2023: TLP will be participating

Tehreek-e-Labaik (TLP) has announced to take full part in the next elections; according to reports, the head of TLP, Saad Rizvi has announced the news.

In his statement, Saad Rizvi, son of the late Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, the founder of the organization, said that they are also ready for early elections. The rulers drowned the country.

He also stated:

“The trust of every citizen of Pakistan will be fulfilled. Those who claim to bring back the looted wealth are at the feet of the IMF [International Monetary Fund], the government and the opposition are busy with personal goals, accusations and personal enmities have not allowed the country to move forward.”

It may be recalled that Saad Rizvi was released in the last few days after reaching an agreement with the government and now he has announced his full participation in the elections.

But even in 2018, Tehreek-e-Labaik had participated in the country and got a large number of votes. The TLP has three seats in the Sindh Assembly, of which two are elected and one is reserved for women. The TLP did not win any seats in the Assembly and other provincial assemblies.
