Emirates lays off highest number of workers amid COVID-19

Dubai’s state airline, Emirates, has permanently terminated the contracts of its pilots and cabin crew because of the financial crunch caused by the coronavirus outbreak.  According to the details of Baaghi TV, Emirates airline has fired 600 pilots and 6000 cabin crew today after the COVID-19 pandemic caused passenger demand to plummet. As per the reports received, the numbers are expected to increase in the near future.
