Engin Altan ready to show his acting skills in Pak dramas
Lahore, 11th December: World-renowned Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan has expressed a desire to work in Pakistani projects, provided he is given a good story.
According to Baaghi TV, the Turkish actor’s name skyrocketed within days in Pakistan after his historical series ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ was televised in the country.
Engin Altan, who portrays the titular role in the historical drama, revealed that he had signed some new projects in Pakistan, adding that he was set to become a brand ambassador for a private textile company.
Baaghi TV reported earlier that the actor who is on a two-day tour to Lahore was invited by Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail and Mian Kashif Zameer, Managing Directors of Chaudhry Group of Industries.
Addressing a press conference here in Lahore today, the Turkish said that he is ready to work in Pakistani drama series if he gets a good story.
He said he was open to working in Pakistan. “Why not!” he exclaimed. “If you have a good story for me, why not.”

He called it a pleasure that Pakistan’s prime minister loves the TV series. He thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for his role in suggesting the show to Pakistanis and encouraging them to watch it.
The 41-year-old actor praised Pakistan for its natural beauty and expressed that he loved Lahori food which was spicy but tasty for him.
Much to the delight of his fans, Engin spoke few Urdu words which he had learnt during his first visit to Pakistan.
“I know shukria (thank you) and Lahore Lahore hai (Lahore is Lahore),” he said.
