Ex-Australian cricketer Stuart MacGill abducted and tortured

Lahore, 5th May: Former Australian test cricketer MacGill was abducted, tortured and then released after an hour.
According to reports, former Australian test bowler Stuart MacGill, 50, was kidnapped from his Sydney home on April 14, was taken to another part of the city, where he was beaten.
Local media reported on Wednesday that he was released an hour later. Police said he suffered minor injuries in the incident but did not need medical attention.
As per reports, the incident took place on April 14 last month on the city’s lower north coast.
The police said that after the kidnapping of the cricketer, he was then taken to the outskirts of the city, where he was allegedly attacked at gunpoint for an hour. He was later released.
According to the latest reports, four people have been arrested in connection with the armed abduction of the former cricketer.
The men were arrested in an early morning raid. According to police, the men were arrested after a two-week-long investigation.
Stuart MacGill is a Test spinner for the Australian cricket team who took 208 wickets in 44 Test matches between 1988 and 2008.
