Lahore: According to the report of Baaghi TV, an explosion has heard in Barkat Market area of Lahore.
According to reports, an explosion took place in a gas cylinder shop in Barkat Market. The sound of the explosion was heard from afar. As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out and smoke was also seen in the distance. Heavy contingent of police reached the spot.
Fire brigade personnel are putting out the fire, the injured have been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
On the other hand, eyewitnesses say that there have been continuous explosions in the cylinder shop after one explosion. According to eyewitnesses, there have been four to five explosions, perhaps after one explosion, the cylinders may have exploded further.

The Commissioner Lahore visited the spot and said that no casualties were reported due to the mercy of God Almighty. Rescue operations are underway. Strict action will be taken against those responsible if violations and security measures are proved.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has called for a report from the Commissioner Lahore Division and CCPO Lahore. The Chief Minister directed the concerned agencies to utilize all necessary resources to control the fire and monitor the situation.
On the other hand, DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz immediately rushed to the spot. DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz is inspecting the cylinder explosion. Rescue 1122 briefed DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz. DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz took stern notice of shifting of cylinders from one place to another.
DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz reprimanded DO Civil Defense and said that wherever cylinders are being shifted from one place to another in the city, take strict action. DO Civil Defense and Assistant Commissioners check all cylinder shops, register cases. Do not make any mistake. There is absolutely no room for negligence.
