Lahore: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reserves have decreased by US$ 479 million to US$ 19,543.4 million, mainly due to external debt repayments.
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 26,402.6 million on 17-September-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-
i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 19,543.4 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,859.2 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves : US$ 26,402.6 million
During the week ended 17-September-2021, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 479 million to US$ 19,543.4 million, mainly due to external debt repayments.
