OIC voices concern over Islamophobia incidents in India

On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the atrocities committed by the Indian Army in solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people and demanded restoration of human rights in the occupied valley.

According to details, the Human Rights Commission of the OIC has strongly condemned the violation of human rights in Kashmir. In this regard, the OIC spokesperson said that immediate action should be taken against the dangerous human rights situation in occupied Kashmir, extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances of unarmed and innocent people in Kashmir should be investigated.

The spokesman further said that violence and illegal detention should be investigated in the occupied Kashmir Valley. The situation in occupied Kashmir has been deteriorating since August 5, 2019.

Complete shutdown in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir

It may be recalled that the Civil Services Act has been implemented in Jammu and Kashmir after the special status of Occupied Kashmir was abolished by India on August 5, 2019. According to which those who have resided in Jammu and Kashmir for 15 years will be able to declare the occupied area as their home area in their domicile.

The Act clarifies that a person declaring the occupied area in the domicile as his native area must have resided in the central region of Jammu and Kashmir for 15 years or studied for a period of 7 years or attended class 10 or 12 at an educational institution in the area and took the exam.
