A facilitator of banned nationalist party terrorists was arrested from Malir District, Karachi, according to Baaghi TV reports.
Steel Town police acted on intelligence reports near Goth Sumar Jokhio. The arrested accused confessed to providing grenades to the terrorist involved in the cracker attack in Chakra Goth, Nasir Colony area of Karachi on August 05, 2020. Terrorist Imam Bakhsh alias Addu had targeted the estate agency of a retired naval officer in Nasir Colony with a grenade.
In the cracker blast on August 5, three civilians were seriously injured. Arrested facilitator Ali Raza son of Abdul Razzaq Jatoi also took photos and videos of the scene after the incident, which was later posted on social media by the Sindh Revolutionary Army, which claimed responsibility for the incident. The arrested accused revealed that he had provided hand grenades and illegal weapons to the nationalist terrorist Imam Bakhsh alias Addu alias Hanif alias Dodo alias Blue Badshah at different times.
Raids are being carried out to nab other accused on the identification of the arrested accused. Police recovered a grenade and illegal weapons along with ammunition from the possession of the accused. Proceedings against the arrested accused are underway. Accused Ali Raza was handed over to the investigating authorities for further questioning.
