Former President and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Asif Ali Zardari, has challenged the trial of fake accounts cases in the Islamabad High Court.

Asif Ali Zardari has challenged the trial of fake accounts cases in the Islamabad High Court. The former president pleaded not guilty to mega money laundering and Park Lane references.

Asif Ali Zardari also requested to stop the immediate trial in the Islamabad High Court in which the position was taken that mega money laundering and Park Lane references should be acquitted. The accountability court had earlier rejected Asif Zardari’s plea.

On the other hand, in 3 references of fake accounts scandal, the accused will be charged at 11:30 am. At the request of Farooq Naik’s assistant counsel, the accountability court adjourned the hearing. The assistant lawyer said that Farooq Naik is currently busy in the Supreme Court, Asif Zardari will also reach the court with the lawyer at 11:30 am.
