Family feud goes viral on social media: Property vs familial politics?

From past two days a video is circulating on social media, which has shaken people to their complete core.

In this video, a son is brutally abusing his own mother, who seems to be in her late 50’s. His mother is laying on the floor and he is on top of her slapping and abusing her. His wife is standing at the back encouraging him to beat his own mother to fullest.

How can someone be so heartless that he has the courage to physically abuse his own mother? Pakistan is a country based on Islamic principles, paradise is considered to be under mother’s feet. How can someone raised on Islamic principles be such brutal and un-generous? A person doing a deed like this has no right to be called as a human, moreover, a son like this has to rot in jail.

According to media reports and sources, Baaghi TV has learnt that the police is not taking any action against the son and his wife. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the unfortunate mother had to run away from home to save her life.

A mother who gave birth to that child, fed him, raised him, got him to study and eventually got him married gets beaten by her own son in front of his wife. Why? For a piece of land or some money? That’s shameful! Is a piece of land more important than your mother? Will beating your mother ever get you a peace?

Sons are considered to be a support of their parents when they grow old, but here we can see a completely opposite picture of an unfortunate son beating his mother.

Soon after the video went viral, the daughter in law of the lady went on to social media and gave a statement online. In her video, she said that this whole video that has been going on is a scam and said that Zubia Ameer is her step sister-in-law. The house is owned by her husband and we have all the documents. Zubia has done this to get the property using a propaganda. She also pointed out that Zubia and her mother abused her. “I am six month pregnant, they physically abused me, my husband and our daughter,” she said in her video.

Why Zubia is making the video and not protecting her mother from the abuse? This is a very strong question to point out. Zubia has shown just one half of the video, the part in which her mother and Zubia were abusing them is missing. She has been married since the last four years and is facing abuse from her mother-in-law and daughter-in-law since then.

This video is a propaganda which is used to take hold of the property. In addition to that Zubia Ameer and her mother has taken away Arslan Ahmed and his wife’s ID cards, cash, property papers, as well as all other important documents.
