ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has reportedly said that the FATF’s anti-Pakistan decision is impartial and biased.

According to details, former Interior Minister Rehman Malik expressed grave concern over the FATF’s decision to keep Pakistan on the gray list.

He said that giving a new six-point action plan to Pakistan instead of removing it from the gray list proves to be discriminatory.

The former Home Minister said that Pakistan was not being removed from the gray list due to political pressure and influence of some countries, it was a discrimination that kept Pakistan on the gray list despite implementing 26 out of 27 points.

Rehman Malik said that the FATF’s gray list has caused more than 38 billion dollars in economic losses to Pakistan. India is involved in heinous crimes of financing terrorism, money laundering and nuclear proliferation.

He said that despite clear evidence, no legal action is being taken against India, why FATF is not taking action against India on the financing of ISIS, FATF public sale and purchase of nuclear materials by India.
